Hello everyone.
The following post was done several days ago on another blog with additions to this one. Hope all of you enjoy this!
The wrestling blog that wrestling fans throughout the world see on a daily basis is a dream for this wrestling fan. It's never been about me....but for those who enjoy wrestling. Whether it's a fan, official and/or a wrestler, it's a communication tool for everyone.
Recently, this blogger received a friend request from an inspiring wrestler from Peru. He goes by the wrestling name of J.O.C. As I have with any wrestler who wants to be friends, this blogger, more than anything, accepted.
In the 55 years as a wrestling fan (including one year wrestling in high school), more than anything, am appreciative what amateur and professional wrestlers go through in the industry. There are major risks taken. Preparation on a physical and mental level is extremely important. For J.O.C, this blogger is certain that he knows this already. From reading his posts on Facebook and his video, he has the hunger, the desire and the dream of bigger and better things.
This fan messaged J.O.C if I could share his video on my timeline as well as doing this post. He responded positively in a warm voice message.
J.O.C and I have exchanged several messages over a few days. Certainly, he has ambitions and this blogger will do his best in helping him reach them. The promotion that he wrestles in, Generaxion Lucha Libre in Peru, has been cordial with this blogger. In a small way, this fan hopefully can be of help. The promotion is one of the top ones not only in Peru, but all of South America.
To JOC and to all that inspire getting into pro wrestling, or for that matter any sport or profession, please don't be afraid of your dreams. There will be peaks and valleys. However, the most important thing is to never to give up on your dreams!
