In this fan's time watching pro wrestling, especially from the Cow Palace (Daly City), there have been some good wrestlers I've seen from Latin America. The first one I saw was the major crowd favorite in the area, Pepper Gomez from Mexico City. During the 20 year run of the National Wrestling Alliance (1961-1981), promoter Roy Shire tried and bring in the best talent from all over the world. Latin America was no exception.
Besides Pepper Gomez, here are the wrestlers this fan had a chance to see over the years.
Raul Reyes, Raul Mata, Chavo, Mando and Hector Guerrero, Great Goliath and Black Gordman (Mexico).
Manuel Cruz, Pedro Morales and Victor Rivera (Puerto Rico).
Ciclon Negro - Venezuela.
Argentina Apollo - Argentina.
Pedro Godoy - Chile.
