Continuing with pro wrestling in South America, Brazil, Venezuela, Guatamala and Chile are countries that have read this blog. Another country that shows interest is Ecuador, just north of Peru.
This blogger has talked with friends in Mexico regarding wrestling promotions throughout South America. One fan in particular mentioned Lucha Libre Ecuador to me.
Looking at Cagematch, Lucha Libre Ecuador is a fairly new promotion as they began their shows in 2022. I was told that they have a Gladiator series that takes place via stream and takes place at the Arena Telesucesos in Quito, the country's capital. Guerrero Dragon is the current Arena Gladiator Champion. Here is the link to their Facebook page..

This blogger looked for a couple of other promotions. Agresores Inc. Lucha Libre is a promotion that began in 2015. The results per Cagematch are incomplete. However, the promotion just successfully completed their 10th anniversary show. Four matches took place at the show and the company awarded the AILL World Championship to Jeffrey Blaze. He defeated Mason Maverick to become the third champion in the promotion's history.
Also, I came across another one called Wrestling Alliance Revolution or WAR Lucha Libre del Ecuador. The company is based out of Quito as well. Their latest show took place in October.
